Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information. Last updated: September 2026.

1. Who we are

BNG Restores is a premium shoe, trainer and bag cleaning service based in London, operated by BNG Collective Ltd, company number 17400013, registered office at Unit 1 Mount Pleasant, Wembley, England, HA0 1TX.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, contact us at hello@bngrestores.com.

2. The information we collect

When you make a booking, we collect the details needed to carry it out: your name, your email address, your collection address and postcode, your delivery address and postcode if different, and any delivery instructions such as buzzer codes or safe-place notes.

We also collect the details of the booking itself: which items you are sending, which services and turnaround you chose, your chosen collection and delivery dates and windows, and your booking reference.

Our website stores a small amount of information in your browser (such as your form progress) so the booking flow works. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How we use your information

We use your booking and contact details to arrange collection, clean and return your items, and to send you booking confirmations and service updates by email. This is necessary for the performance of our contract with you.

We use your postcode to confirm your address is within our London service area.

We keep records of bookings for accounting, customer service and legal record-keeping purposes. This is based on our legitimate interests and legal obligations.

We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked us to, and every marketing email will include a way to opt out.

4. Who we share your information with

We share your information only with the service providers needed to run our business: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider (to send booking confirmations and notifications), and our address lookup service, which receives the postcode you type to suggest nearby addresses and does not receive your name or other details.

We never sell your personal information.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, we rely on the transfer safeguards they put in place under UK data protection law.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep booking records only as long as we need them for the purposes above — to complete your bookings, handle any follow-up questions, and meet our accounting and legal record-keeping obligations.

Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information we no longer need, to object to or restrict certain uses of your information, and to receive your booking data in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, email us at hello@bngrestores.com. We will respond as required by law.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.

7. Keeping your information secure

Your booking details are stored in our hosted database and access is restricted to what our team and service providers need to complete your bookings.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we review how we handle your information and keep access limited to what is necessary.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
